Speaking & Media

Speaking & Media

The more I’ve learned about sleep, the more interesting it has become.

I’ve spent much of my professional life studying, writing and talking about sleep and circadian rhythms. I still find them fascinating.

I bring that curiosity and enthusiasm to the audiences I speak to, making sleep and circadian science understandable and relevant.

Speaking

Sleep connects to almost every part of our lives.

Much of my work has centred on sleep, circadian rhythms and how the two interact.

Our biology and health, how we think and feel, how we work and relate to other people, and the rhythms by which we live — sleep touches all of them.

I give talks, keynotes and workshops, and take part in panels and discussions for a wide range of audiences. These include professional services firms and consultancies, charities, public bodies and universities, as well as conferences and professional events.

My speaking includes sleep and wellbeing, women’s sleep and menopause, sleep and performance, sleep and leadership, stress and sleep, and circadian health.

Each talk is shaped around the audience and what they are interested in.

Media

I’ve been talking about sleep in the media for many years.

I’ve appeared on television and radio and contributed to print, online and podcasts, sharing the science of sleep and circadian rhythms with a wider audience.
